Who We Are
At Holloway Law, we believe that the right legal guidance can change everything —
not just the outcome of your case, but the way you feel moving through it.
We’re a small, client-focused practice based in Greenville and Spartanburg, South Carolina, serving individuals, families, and business owners across the Upstate. Our approach is simple: give clients direct access to experienced attorneys, build trust through honest communication, and prepare every case like it’s going to trial — because sometimes, it does.
Alexa Holloway
Experienced. Compassionate. Trial-Tested.
Alexa Holloway is the founding attorney of the Holloway Law Firm, LLC, where she provides dedicated, results-driven legal services across South Carolina. Drawing on nearly a decade of litigation experience, she represents clients in criminal defense, family law, business disputes, and real estate matters. She also serves as a Guardian ad Litem in complex family court cases, bringing a steadfast commitment to protecting children and advocating for their best interests.
Before launching her own practice in 2023, Alexa served as an Assistant Solicitor in the 13th Circuit Solicitor’s Office, where she was assigned to the elite Crimes Against Children Unit. In this role, she prosecuted some of the State’s most serious and emotionally complex cases—including child homicides, sex crimes, and gang-related murders—many of which resulted in life sentences.
Notable cases include:
- Life sentence (2022): Homicide by child abuse involving a Food Network television personality.
- Life sentence (2022): Gang-related murder of a high school student with multiple codefendants.
- 30-year sentence (2021): Criminal sexual conduct with a minor involving a military family.
Her years in the Solicitor’s Office refined her courtroom skills and instilled in her a client-first philosophy—whether she is advocating for a defendant, a business owner, or a child in need of protection.
Alexa earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where she was a standout member of the Mock Trial Bar and won numerous awards for her advocacy skills, including the D. Reece Williams III Trial Advocacy Award presented by the American Board of Trial Advocates. She also received the Children’s Law Certificate, anchoring her continuing, long-term commitment to serving families and vulnerable populations.
Following law school, she clerked for the Honorable Robert E. Hood of the South Carolina Circuit Court, where she developed a strong foundation in legal research and writing.
She holds a B.A. in History from Washington & Jefferson College, with a minor in English.

Leadership and Community Involvement
In addition to her legal practice, Alexa remains active in leadership and service within the legal community:

- South Carolina Bar Leadership Academy: Graduate and planning committee member
- CLE Organizer: Criminal Trial Demonstration Series (2017–2022)
- Mock Trial Coach: Furman University and USC School of Law
